Over the last few years, rather than indulge friends and clients of Foundation with chocolate and alcohol we have bought animals for villages in Africa and India. We started with a camel, moved on to goats and donkeys….what to chose in 2009? If anyone out there has a particular charity or favourite cause, let us know. Otherwise it will be hens, hens, hens!

Absolutely delighted we won a four way pitch for rebranding of Go Windermere. Lovely client, lovely location, we’re really excited about this one. I hate to use the so-called buzzword ‘Staycation’, but if we do all plan on holidaying more in the UK you really can’t choose better than the Lake District. Plan for the weather to be unpredictable and you’ll be fine – there’s such a lot to do there – and now that Gordon Brown’s given it his seal of holidaying approval, things are looking up for tourism in this country. Who needs Chiantishire when you’ve got the beautiful rolling hills of our own National Parks? Go Windermere!

Friday was a sad day at Foundation, Rebecca is leaving the comfort of the Foundation family to join that noble profession, the Police Force.
Whilst we’ll miss Rebecca’s great organisation and her strive to get the job done and I personally will miss not having anyone to boss around for a while, we’ll also miss Benson and Dexter even more. Thursdays and Fridays just won’t be the same without the regular puppy therapy to save us from ourselves. (Dog hater Henry is probably not that bothered)
Good luck to Rebecca from everyone at Foundation

Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together! We’ve been supporting the Yorkshire Agricultural Society with their launch of Fodder, their fabulous new flagship food shop and café selling the very best produce from the region.
We’ve worked on local ads and supplements to launch Fodder www.fodderweb.co.uk which is based at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, and are delighted that our coverage has helped create such interest in the shop and café that they’ve got people queuing in the aisles to sample the food in the cafe.
It is an extremely worthy venture: buying local not only supports the regional economy, it reduces food miles and offers fresher, tastier, honest food. You can subscribe to e-fodder and get details of their latest promotions and events www.fodderweb.co.uk/en/efodder/ and help support the local economy too.
